01About CubeSight
Last updated: 22 October 2026. This notice covers the free Android advertising release and the prepared iOS/iPadOS release of CubeSight (CubeSight: Count & Remember on the App Store), published by Fatme Al Daouk under the studio name ompstudioman. The responsible publisher and contact address are shown above. iOS availability is subject to App Store approval. Older offline test builds do not include active ads.
You can play without a studio account. Puzzle generation, scores and progress stay on your device; we do not operate a cloud save, online multiplayer, publisher analytics or separate crash-reporting service. Online advertising is provided by Google AdMob as described below. Real-money purchases are disabled.
02Data stored on your device
CubeSight stores preferences, language, scores, campaign progress, achievements, coins, inventory, saved sessions and reward records locally so you can continue playing. Same-device two-player names remain in the game session and are not uploaded to a studio server.
A one-time age-group choice, under 18 or 18 and older, is saved in app-private storage. We do not ask for a date of birth or send this age-group choice to the studio. Under-18 players and players who leave the question unanswered do not make ad requests. Privacy choices can be revisited in Settings. Where local records constitute personal data, providing your requested game functionality is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
03Google AdMob advertising
For eligible players aged 18 and older, CubeSight offers optional rewarded ads for coins and occasional interstitial ads after completed Classic sessions. Ads are not placed inside timed puzzles, tutorials or local two-player turns. Watching an optional reward is not required to play. Closing a rewarded ad before earning its reward does not grant coins.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share your IP address, approximate location inferred from it, device identifiers (such as Android advertising/app-set identifiers or Apple's advertising identifier when permitted), interactions such as ad impressions, taps and video views, and diagnostic information such as app/SDK performance and crash or hang information. Google uses these for ad delivery, measurement and analytics, fraud prevention and security. CubeSight does not request permission for precise device location, and does not upload your puzzle answers, currency balance or saved progress to the studio.
Google and the advertising technology providers identified in the consent interface receive advertising data. For users in the EEA or Switzerland, the relevant Google controller is Google Ireland Limited; Google LLC and other service providers may process data in other countries. Google describes its processing, retention, rights and transfer safeguards at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. The SDK encrypts its data in transit using TLS. No additional mediation-network SDKs are enabled in this release.
04Consent and advertising choices
Google User Messaging Platform checks privacy requirements when the app starts. Where required, it presents a consent form before eligible ad requests. Consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR is used for advertising personalisation and access to or storage of information where consent is legally required. Necessary security, fraud prevention or restricted advertising processing may use applicable legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f), as described in the provider choices and information.
Use Settings > Privacy choices to revisit the advertising form, change your saved age group or open this policy. You can withdraw or change consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Depending on your choices, region and available inventory, Google may provide non-personalised or limited ads, or no ads. The game continues to work if ads are unavailable or consent cannot be updated. Android settings also let you reset or delete your advertising ID. No exact age, identity document or advertising-consent profile is sent to a studio backend.
On iOS and iPadOS, eligible adult players may also see Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission request before advertising starts. You can decline and continue playing. Without that permission, the app requests non-personalised ads and does not authorise cross-app tracking or access to Apple's advertising identifier. Change this system permission in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Google's consent form and Apple's permission are separate choices; allowing one does not override a refusal in the other. TestFlight builds use Google's sample ad units.
05Permissions and platform services
The app uses internet/network access for advertising and consent, and optional vibration for haptics. It does not ask for contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise-location access. It has no studio login, social chat, user-content upload or real-money billing in this release.
Google Play, Apple's App Store and your operating system separately handle downloads, updates, account information and device diagnostics according to their own policies and settings. The Android release disables app-data backup; existing backups from older builds may remain under your device/cloud provider controls. On iOS/iPadOS, local app data may be included in device or iCloud backups according to your Apple settings. This is an operating-system backup, not a studio cloud-save service.
06Support and information you send
If you email ompstudioman@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message and any details or attachments you choose to provide. Include only the information needed to resolve your request, such as device model, game version and reproduction steps. Do not send passwords or payment details.
We use correspondence to answer your request: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where necessary to provide the game or respond to contractual enquiries, otherwise our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f). Gmail, provided by Google, processes the correspondence to deliver and host email. We do not sell support messages or use them to target advertisements.
07Retention, deletion and your rights
Local progress and preferences remain until removed using your operating system's app-data controls or deleting the app. Offloading an iOS app can retain its data; deleting it removes its local data. Any device/cloud backups must be managed separately through your platform provider. We cannot retrieve or erase local files remotely. Google retains advertising information for the purposes and periods described in its policies, depending on data type and privacy settings; use Google privacy controls or contact Google for provider-held information. We do not hold a studio-side copy of your advertising identifiers or ad-event history.
Support messages are retained while needed to resolve the enquiry, meet legal duties or establish or defend legal claims, and then deleted or anonymised. International processing by Google and the hosting/email providers is subject to their applicable transfer arrangements, such as standard contractual clauses or applicable adequacy decisions.
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection as applicable, and withdraw consent through the privacy controls. Contact ompstudioman@gmail.com. We may request proportionate verification before responding. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen. We do not use support messages for automated decisions or profiling.
